While in Utah, we got to go to Uncle Kelly & Aunt Lisa's house for dinner. We picked up Grandma Sallie and Grandpa Paul and headed to Bountiful for a fun evening. Dinner was delicious and was followed up by roasting smores in their fire pit.
The boys had a fun time swinging while Grandpa pushed them.
Kadin was listening so happily and intently as Grandma was singing to him. He loved it!
For FHE one night, we walked around the temple grounds. Kyler had a few melt-downs while we were there, but I think he really enjoyed it. It has been something he has talked about a lot.
We went to Grandma & Grandpa Thomsen's to celebrate Pioneer day and watch some fireworks. Neither of the boys enjoyed the fireworks very much. Kyler warmed up toward the end, but it took a lot of convincing to even get him to stay outside and watch them. Hillari got some nice snuggles from Kadin during the show.
When we picked Grandma & Grandpa up to go to Uncle Kelly's, Kyler was pretty disappointed that we didn't get to go in and play in the basement. He loves all of Grandma Sallie's fun toys. He was pretty excited to hear we were going back and that we actually got to go in and play. The boys had a good time with all of the toys.
Kyler and Kris (Sallie's friend) built a huge city with the blocks.
Grandma Bette also came out and we were so happy to be able to see her and spend time with her.
My sister and her kids moved to Iowa a couple of weeks before we went to Utah. Kyler was pretty sad to hear that his cousins wouldn't be at Mimi's house. However, they were able to make it back to Utah for a couple of days so they could attend my brother's wedding. The kids had a great time playing together. One day they discovered a couple of Mimi's giant tubs and did some impromptu swimming. It looks pretty white trash, but they had fun.
Kadin and Reigh were such cute friends. They got along well the whole time. These shots were taken right after the tub swimming. More white trash, I know.
Bret (my brother) and Lacey got married while we were there, which was actually the reason for our trip. Kyler was the ring bearer and Ainsley (my oldest niece) was the flower girl. They were darling! They walked down a large set of stairs together and then down the aisle. Kyler carried the rings on a pillow and Ainsley threw rose petals over her shoulder. I so wish that I had pictures, but Kyler was a little nervous about staying in the brides room while waiting for his turn to walk down the aisle so I was upstairs waiting with him and had to stay up there until the ceremony started. Hopefully the photographer got some cute pictures of the two of them.

Cute pictures! I LOVE those pictures of your boys with Sallie- it is still hard for me to think of her as a Grandma!
