Legoland

We went to Legoland at the end of July and I have been putting off blogging about it. There are so many pictures and I don't want to spend the time organizing them. So these are in no particular order and I just don't care.

We went to this super cheesy show that Kyler absolutely loved. It was about people training to be Legoland firefighters. Eric and I could barely stomach it, but we weren't there for us so we did our best to act excited. Kyler had to go down and give all of the actors fives and get his picture taken with them.

There was a little area of Legoland that had a splash pad and some fountains and slides. It may have been one of Kyler's favorite parts of Legoland.

Kyler loved riding on this pirate ship and being able to squirt people. Right up his alley.

Being eaten by a lego shark.

Probably Kyler's favorite ride. He loved being able to drive these cars. He also thought it was very cool that they gave him a "drivers license" when he was done driving.

Something for Kadin! Poor Kadin! He didn't hate Legoland or anything, but it wasn't the best vacation for him. There was only one ride that he could actually ride. He was stuck in the stroller more than he liked, but there were some things he could do. He loved this little village. There were lots of little houses and play areas. He loved the slide!

Here the kids could stand on a spot in front of a musical instrument and it would make that instrument play. I thought it was cute.

Kyler liked trying to squirt water into the alligators mouths.

Kadin digging for dinosaur bones. He quite enjoyed himself here!

We went to the Sea Life Aquarium (connected to Legoland, but you have to pay extra to get in). The boys liked it pretty well. I thought the octopus was cool. Kyler and Kadin liked the shark tank. Kadin's favorite part of the aquarium were the buttons you could push that would make bubble sounds.

Kadin and I went to a duplo play area while Kyler and Eric rode some rides.

Kyler and me with a Lego pirate. He was a little nervous about it.

Ha ha! Kadin kind of looks like a giant. He loved all of the buttons he could push in these little display areas. There are lego replicas of a bunch of different cities.

Had to get a picture of the Vegas one.

Kyler needed his picture taken with Darth Vader.

Kyler and Eric on the big slide. I'm surprised Kyler was so willing.

Both kids loved this little ball area. Kyler got to shoot balls at people and Kadin got to run around collecting balls. A big hit!

Legoland was pretty fun, but we decided that if we ever go back it won't be for quite a while. Maybe when both boys are old enough to be able to go on all of the rides. Most likely though, we'll stick with Disneyland. The rides are better for everyone. Legoland didn't have any rides that would really excite adults and had only one ride for Kadin. Guess we should have done our homework better.

  1. That's so good to know! Someone told me that there were MORE rides for little one's at Legoland than Disneyland. People are weird. Looks like a lot of fun though! Cute boys.
