First Day of Preschool

Kadin started preschool at Miss Marsha's Mini School (same preschool Kyler attended) last week. Tuesday was orientation. He and I went to his school for an hour. He was a little nervous at first. This was the only pose he would give me in front of the school.

When we went inside, he was quite shy. The first thing he was supposed to do was wash his hands. The teacher had to help him because he was being so shy. After washing hands, the kids got to play with the toys until everyone had arrived. This helped Kadin warm up quite a bit. After they played, they sat down and had a little singing time, then one of the teachers read them a book. By this time, Kadin was completely into preschool. He even raised his hand so that he could tell the teacher he had been to the beach before.

After the story, the kids went to the craft room and did a craft while one of the teachers talked to the parents about what would go on during the school year. The kids finished their craft, had a snack, got their school bags, and we went home.

On Thursday, Kadin went to preschool on his own. It was only an hour long. He did great! He had fun and is excited to go back.

After Kadin's first day of school, we went to get doughnuts to celebrate (his choice).

This week starts the normal three hour schedule. Hopefully he will continue to like it.
