Easter Weekend

Eric's family has an Easter tradition of going to Zion National Park the day before Easter. We have been a couple of times since we were married and were excited to go this year.

We headed to Cedar City (where Grandma Mary lives) on Friday. Kyler was very excited to stay in a hotel and swim in their pool. The boys had a great time playing.



After playing in the pool, we headed to the Pizza Factory for dinner. We met a bunch of the family there and had so much fun!

After dinner we went to Grandma's church for some fun and for the family meeting. The boys had a good time running around with all of their cousins.


The next morning we headed to Zion. The boys had a great time playing the the dirt and rocks,


hiking,


and hunting for Easter eggs.



We drove straight home after leaving Zion that evening. The boys were absolutely exhausted. Kadin didn't really nap much either of those days and both boys went to bed late and got up early. They were so tired that Kyler slept until 10:00 and Kadin slept until 10:55. We ended up missing half of sacrament meeting because I couldn't bring myself to wake them up.

Since Kyler woke up a while before Kadin, we let him hunt for his Easter basket and enjoy some candy.


When Kadin woke up, we let him hurry and find his basket before getting him dressed and rushing off to church.


That evening our nice friends, the Spurgeons, invited us over for Easter dinner. We had a delicious dinner and a fun time visiting with them and other friends. Then the kids got to have a little Easter egg hunt.



Thanks to our wonderful family and friends, we had such a fun Easter weekend!
